Martin's first solo album 'Gobshite' has been doing the rounds since June 2013. Ignored completely by the media, the reaction from those who have bought or listened to the record has been suitably mixed :) The CD is on sale in Music Millennium, Portland, Oregon USA. Onionheart Records, Exmouth & Exeter Local Records, Exeter UK. Check out tracks from 'Gobshite' and much more @ Youtube - TheMartinWeller and Soundcloud.com/martin-weller. You can e-mail me now for a copy, prices, etc. email@example.com
Talking of Music Millennium. Martin played an 'in store', his sixth at Portland's premier music emporium. His performance was recorded and a new live solo album is now available – please e-mail for details.
CRUSH UK parted company after more than a decade together. Before the band's trip to Oregon, September 2011 Martin decided it was time to change and his favourite project needed a rethink.
Two years later Martin, Dave and Rick formerly known as CRUSH UK ;) reunited to celebrate Dave's birthday in London this October 2013. It was fun, but there are no further plans to perform together again.
The band also feature in a pre edited version of the epilogue of a book about our beloved Horse Brass Pub in Portland, Oregon. Author Bob Wright has undertaken the mammoth task of trying to capture some of the stories from the Don Younger era, before Don and right up to date. The book could easily become a series and we are delighted to be a small part of the rich tableau of the establishment's history.
This website is our legacy and gateway to the future perhaps and we hope will help to keep our spirits and yours alive :) We are very proud of our recordings as CRUSH UK, Crush and Frampton & Weller some of which you can listen to on the Audio page and buy our CDs because, actually they are very good indeed :)
Please enjoy the pictures, videos, sense and nonsense on the message board and remember, we have more CRUSH UK and other band videos on Youtube - search and subscribe to 'TheMartinWeller' and 'Yhaalhouse'
Martin's solo shows feature CRUSH UK cuts of course, whilst BobKatZ, Big 'Ed & The Red Rockers and The Kniks are keeping him gainfully employed. Dave is in his bunker recording future 'Sibelius' classics and Rick is out there somewhere in drummer land.
Peace and long life x
